Message from the Chairs
Dear colleagues,
It is a pleasure to invite you to the 2nd International Conference of the Riseup-PPD titled “Knowledge and implementation gaps in peripartum depression: innovation and future directions” held on 21-22 September 2023 at Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski .
This 2nd International Conference of the Research Innovation and Sustainable Pan-European Network in Peripartum Depression Disorder (Riseup-PPD), is organized by our multidisciplinary network of researchers and professionals. This network was founded in 2019 aiming at filling gaps in Peripartum Depression Disorder research, practice and at increasing social awareness.
Contemporary gaps in the knowledge of peripartum depression and implementation of PPD policies significantly impact perinatal health care and need to be urgently addressed. This will constitute the core topic of our conference, where we aim to discuss and share the innovations and future directions emerging that offer promising avenues for improving PPD care and ultimately reducing its impact on parental and child health. We welcome abstracts for oral and poster presentations on a variety of topics related to peripartum depression.
We look forward to seeing all of you at this next Meeting in Sofia, Bulgaria on September 21-22, 2023!
